CEO
Yoshitsugu Hamanaka
Yoshitsugu has over 40 years of experience in the fashion industry.
He began as a fabric salesman in Osaka before moving to a well-known apparel company as a planner.
He would later work as a sales director at a specialized apparel trading company for 27 years, developing his OEM skills. In 2008, Yoshitsugu established Bricolage Co., Ltd.
As CEO of the company, he still maintains a close working relationship with his customers.
Knit Planner
Hayato Ueda
Hayato started his career as a fabric planner at a fabric and fiber trading company. He later moved on to a specialized apparel trading company as a knit, cut & sew planner, where he worked with Yoshitsugu. With their combined efforts, OEM sales increased significantly. Joining Bricolage Co., Ltd as a knit planner, he works with a wide range of customers in both men’s and women’s apparel, including young, adult, and designer brands. He also oversees OEM for knits and cut & sews for a NY men’s brand.
US Product and Marketing Manager
Sawako Kato
Sawako worked as a private label planner and producer at a specialized apparel trading company where she built her design and production experience. In order to expand her career outside of Japan, Sawako went to NY and worked with a Japanese agent that exports NY brand’s clothing and accessories. After returning from NY, she joined Bricolage Co., Ltd as a planner. In 2012, she started our OEM division for US brands using connections she developed in NY. She currently handles OEM for both Japanese & US customers.
Designer
Yuki Okuma
Born in Fukuoka, Yuki studied design at Vantan Design Institute. She has worked with several women’s apparel brands as a designer. In 2013, she joined Bricolage Co., Ltd, as an in-house sample designer, where she is able to work with customers directly to streamline the production process. She keeps a close eye on both Japanese & US trends and designs new styles for our showroom exhibitions at the Bricolage office.
US Account Supervisor
Yoshiko Nagata
Yoshiko began her career as a NY collection trend analyst and PR & Press assistant at a well- known NY based showroom. She later gained experience in the import & export business at an apparel buying office as an account executive, where she also participated in the seasonal buying process with several Japanese retailers. Yoshiko joined Bricolage Co., Ltd as a sales representative in our US OEM division, currently supervising all US business.
Sales and Product
Tatsuya Kawasaki
Tatsuya has experience working as an area manager at an apparel trading company, and as a salesperson at an apparel manufacturer.
Joining Bricolage Co., Ltd in 2014, he currently handles OEM for domestic brands.
He always attempts to satisfy customer demand.
In addition to the above members, there is an accountant and a freelance planner at our company.
